I am happy to announce that I will be leading a weekly chair yoga class at Read It Again Bookstore. Join us to learn about how to transfer stress and fatigue into increased alertness, stamina, and greater productivity.
Chair Yoga is a practice using a chair for seated poses, and as a balance point for standing poses. Not everyone can get up and down off the floor easily making traditional yoga classes difficult. With the help of a chair anyone can practice yoga with the same benefits of increased circulation, balance, flexibility, mobility and strength. Even if you’re a regular in a traditional yoga class, chair yoga routines are a great way to learn how to stretch and flex while sitting at your desk or during a lunch break. Experience immediate benefits as you gently strengthen and relax with revitalizing poses and simple breathing techniques.
Classes start May 2nd at 9am and will continue every week.
